Description:

This superb chiffon square by Aboriginal artist Therese Ryder depicts the artist’s traditional country in the MacDonnell Ranges, near Alice Springs in Central Australia.

It can be used as a pocket square, a handkerchief or stretched as an art piece.

It is part of the Namatjira Collection of Wearable Art by the Namatjira Artists of the Aboriginal Hermannsburg watercolour movement, in Alice Springs. From the landscapes of their country painted in the traditional watercolour style, they created unique three dimensional wearable arts pieces. The original watercolour images were scanned using LuxLab facilities, and are then digitally printed - using eco-friendly printing and water-based inks -, on silk / chiffon, and hand-sewn in Alice Springs.

Care Instructions: hand-wash delicately.
